Duke Applied Math

Do you guys think that Duke is done making offers or are they just taking too much time?
I'm getting a little anxious.

for pure math, I received a response to my inquiry from the grad director last week that they are still considering applications, keeping in mind that they already made a first round offers. the reason i think this might be relevant to you is that duke has one program for both applied and pure but i am not sure if they have a different process for admission to the two tracks. anyway, the past week was their spring break, so hopefully they make some decisions this week.

I don't heart back anything either! I don't know why they take so long and I haven't seen anybody get the offer. If anyone know anything, please share

Yeah, at some point in this forum there seemed to be a general consensus that only pure math applicants had received consideration because only people with pure math interests seemed to be getting offers. I for one think that some first round decisions have been made on both sides. Could someone confirm this? That is, is there someone with applied math interests who has received an offer from Duke on this forum. By the way thanks for sharing your response from the grad director math_applicant.
I hope we hear something from them next week.

I also kind of doubt that rejection. Hopefully we hear soon from them.
