Does anybody know the US News Applied Math ranking for 2013?

Post by elektron1999 » Wed Mar 06, 2013 2:38 am

Hi! I know usnews ranks graduate schools every year. I know in 2013 there is a new list (different from the one online, which is 2010)

I am tempted to pay 10 dollars to buy this usnews 2013 publication, but all i want from it is one list.
Does any of you know what is the ranking for best applied math programs according to usnews 2013? (I presume somebody must have purchased it already.)

Thanks!

The 2014 list should be available online in the next week(although the guidebook which I think you are referring to won't be available for another month). Maybe after that a free version of the 2013 one will be available online.

... will have new rankings in the five largest professional graduate school disciplines: business, law, education, engineering, and medicine, as well as the various specialties associated with each of those five broad disciplines.
According to this quote from the article, I don't think the soon-to-be released ranking will include the Science discipline which includes Mathematics.

Does US News really rank PhD programs every year?

If so, I'm surprised there isn't a way to get access to the more recent rankings for free. Even if US News isn't releasing the info for free, I would think someone else who has access would release it to the internet.
