Are my GRE scores bad?

Post by Umnik » Wed Jan 04, 2012 3:11 am

A week ago I got my GRE Subject scores in Math:
it's 750 (73%) - i am interested, whether it is OK or not?

Also, I have got my GRE General, and my AWA score is terrible - 3.0 (11%, How important is it?), Quant and Verbal are OK - 167Q (95%), 154V (64%)

Mostly Masters in Finance or Master in Mathematical Finance programs at Top Universities: Stanford, Columbia, NYU, Princeton, MIT Sloan, University of Toronto. Also, I tried several PhD shots: Cornell (Financial Engineering), Boston University (FinMath), INSEAD (Finance), even made a hedging choice - PhD at Concordia in Montreal, Canada (Phd in maths) ...

Stanford, Princeton average GRE scores. Columbia doesn't require the GRE, much less subject. This was culled from FAQ's and Prereq information.
