This report is not valid for transmission of scores to an institution

Post by GeraltofRivia » Wed Mar 23, 2016 7:28 am

So in the pdf file named "Examinee Score Report" there's this line

"This report is not valid for transmission of scores to an institution".

So what do they mean by "Transmission of score" ? I sent this file to the department I am applying, did I do something wrong ?

Most applications require an "official" score report. I.e. sending a score report through the ETS. Usually sending them a copy of the PDF you downloaded is not sufficient.

Normally you just type in your scores on the application and pay ETS to send an "official" report. I think it costs $27. Once in a blue moon a school asks you to upload a .pdf. I don't like this because it's a way for them to find out how many times you've taken the test and what schools you're applying to.
