Next step after practicing all four tests

Post by yoyostein » Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:04 am

Hi,

Based on experience, what would be the best next step in revision after practising all the four practice tests?

(Currently my plan is to do the four practice tests again and again, ad infinitum)

Thank you very much!

Look at the questions you got wrong and the questions you got right but found difficult. Study up on these areas. A study guide may be useful here - I found the Princeton one very handy.

There are more exams available, like the 6 on the REA book

But. I think that a very good thing is to find new ways to solve the same problem. Finally you are likely to find shortcuts that will help you in different problems. Or woek with other people. Read different ways people solved the problems. There are lots of versions of them.

ie: there is a question about a tangent plane in the 0568. I used the formula

fx(x-xo) + fy(x-yo) + fz(z-zo), where (xo,yo,zo) is the point of tangency

Although this wasn't a hard method, a coworker (I aam a Math tutor) said: I chaeted! Only this plane contains the point the point (xo,yo,zo). He was right, of coirse. And I don't think that he cheated at all!
