Hey all,
I don't know about how good schools are and what kind of students get in. I'm interested in going into applied math. Here are some stats
~US Citizen Japanese male student
~Graduated with double degree in physics and math last May (Large state school)
~3.68 GPA overall, 3.73 GPA math classes, 3.53 GPA physics classes
~Pi Mu Epsilon Inductee May 2010
~Undergraduate teaching assistantship for calculus 2009-2010
~One small research-like experience (no publications)
~subject GRE to be determined
~Currently taking two graduate courses as non-degree student
Here are the schools that I'm currently applying to
Princeton
Brown
NYU
Berkeley
UMD
UT-Austin
UC Boulder
Chicago
Georgia Tech (pure math)
Does anyone have any recommendations for DOMESTIC schools that I can get into? I'm hoping for schools with later deadlines as well...Thanks!!
