Correct 46
Incorrect 4
780
80%

Is that a good score... or it would be better for me to retake the exam? Because I am going to apply next year and I have the time.

I've also heard that it's recommended to have 80% minimum.
But can someone explain why the percentages drop/raise? In my opinion it would be unfair to compare two different tests - only results from the same test should influence previous results.
Do I miss something?

They definitely recompute the percentiles at the end of the academic year. Not sure if they are doing it after every individual test.

The scores are scaled between different tests, that's why you get two different scores and how it's possible to compare scores across multiple test.

I think they calculate percentile based on the examinees of the same test. The October is a difficult test and even if your raw score is low, your scale score and percentile might still be high, cause you will be compared with people taking the same test. My raw score is only 56, but my scale score is 880. For the GR0568, raw of 56 is only 840. So if you retake the test and feel you do better, this does not necessarily mean you will get a higher scale score since other people might also do well as well.

Percentile is based on the scaled score of everyone who took the test over the last number of years. It is the percentage of test takers who scored below that particular scaled score across all the different test forms that were used during that time.
