The fastest and earliest way.... I even can not sleep those days.......

You can get them by phone starting Nov 8, at least that's what ETS says. In April the scores by phone were available a few days before ETS said they would, so you could try calling a bit earlier. (The hotline tells you whether or not your scores are available before you enter your credit card info, so you won't be charged extra for calling earlier.)

I just called ETS to confirm this. They said the scores will available on Nov. 19..................WTF......

Indeed, November 8th is the earliest. A $12 fee is incurred. It just seems strange, that scores are available through phone before they're available online. After all, isn't the Internet a faster and more convenient medium for these things?

I've improved from 51% to 60%. FML. Well there's always Nov.

Would any of you mind sharing number correct/incorrect so that those of us taking it in november have a feel for how it's going when we're in there next week?

My score went from 56% in April to 42% now. I'm not sure if it's even worth applying to grad school with these scores. I'll try to take it again next week, but it probably won't help much

880 96%. My major is not mathematics though. I apply for computer science. I do not know whether it adds some weight to my application. By the way I answered 61 and was not sure about 1 or 2 question.

It's surely faster and more convenient. It's also less profitable.

I'd say its not a black mark against your profile and if the rest of your profile is sufficiently strong, then you should still be okay. Best of luck

Well... the good news is I will save a bunch of money by not to reporting this score to any schools.

I went to the "Online Score Report" page on the GRE website. While the score is not up there yet, I noticed that they reported my score to the institutions that I selected, including my undergraduate institution, on Nov 6 2010. Does this mean that the math department at my undergraduate institution has my score already? Nevertheless, I might go to my school's math department office to see what is up with this.

I have noticed this as well. What the hell is up with ETS? With the whole "pay early to get your score" thing, and then the "we'll tell the schools what your scores are before we tell you," it doesn't look like they care about their clients (us!) much. I hope this damn GRE obsession that US graduate schools have dies soon.

That's just me being bitter though. I worked my ass off for 4 and a half years only to pay ETS over $500 and find out I'm only barely mediocre. I'll show them! I'll be sending them a copy of my PhD thesis in about 5 years.

Errrrr.... On second thought, they'd probably slap a 45th percentile on it and send it back. Ha.

120% with you on that. But that probably won't happen for a while; they are probably using our fees to come up with more "evidences" that their tests can evaluate students' ability to succeed in graduate schools. Which is probably why one of my professors was really obsessed about this test...

It would be nice if somebody could post his raw score along with his scaled score. Thanks!
