Last Week of practice for the October Test

So, what are everyone's weaknesses? What are people working on? Do you still have any more practice tests to do?

Personally, I have noticed that I have a tendency to make careless errors on Multivariate Calc stuff such as putting the "squared" on the outside of the rotational solid formula as opposed to the inside. (That is I will do something dumb like V=pi*Int[f(x) dx]^2 instead of V=pi*Int[f(x)^2 dx]).

Share your common mistakes so that you can help others avoid them. Also acknowledging your flaws will make you more aware of them so you will be more careful on the test.

Weaknesses: If it deals with fields then I'm screwed.

Is that a specific aversion to fields or is it Algebra in general?

I haven't had really any exposure to complex analysis and I'm not very good at some algebra concepts such as ideals and homomorphisms.

It's nice that the test has a wide variety of material it covers, its just whether I have studied deeply enough into each of those varieties.

Good luck this saturday everyone!
