Summer opportunities for Post-Bacs

I will finish my B.A. this May and start Ph.D. in September :))

But previously I was too caught up in my application and thesis, and so far I have had nothing scheduled for the summer. Does anyone know if there are math related opportunities for post-Bacs that are still open? I will also contact some profs to see if they are willing to take students, but it would be really lovely to know if there are some programs (in the US or elsewhere) to explore. Any info is appreciated!

Btw, if anyone is interested, many Russian universities also have excellent summer research opportunities, something like REU in the US. They might not have as much funding as the US, but an unbelievable thing is that the rent for the student dorm is only 15 - 20 dollars per month!!

From what I know, Lomonosov Moscow State University has opportunities for "apprentice researchers" (in Russian — STAZHYOR) for up to a month's time; better that you directly discuss with profs. Novosibirsk State University has a board range of summer research opportunities for international students, and you can apply on the website. NSU is a good choice, but communication is a bit difficult. Also, Tomsk Polytechnic University and another university (name forgotten) in Tomsk have some research projects that welcome students to join in the summer; communication with Tomsk unis has been very smooth and I think the town Tomsk is probably easier for non-Russian speaking people to survive and the culture there is more diverse.

These are all English programs, as I only speak a few words in Russian lol. If you are interested, definitely check those programs, and I would say that you would never regret a summer in Russia as long as you don't drown in Vodka.
