GRE: Should I use free score reports?

I'm taking the GRE (both general and subject), and they both have a free score report option.

I want to save money for sure since $27/school will add up quickly since I'm applying for 7-10 schools, but what happens if I do horribly on the exams? It seems that there is no way to change the free score report AFTER taking the exam. I'm inclined to take the exam first and pay the fees after I confirm that my scores are good enough. What are your thoughts on this? Do a lot of people just take the risk and use the free score report option?

I don’t think any school will really give a crap whether you submitted a first score if you retake and get a better one. So you don’t really lose out by using the free score.
