Hi everyone,

I've decided to apply to the Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Kansas and my area of interest is Number Theory. How do you recommend KU Number Theory program?. I can't find much information regarding that on their website. Hope someone on this forum can help me find it out. Thanks.

You can always try contacting either the grad advisor or a grad student.

Yeah. Moreover, I'm having a tough time choosing between George Mason, South Florida and KU. I wanna pursue Number Theory at a better university. What is the best out of these 3 unis?

I really am not sure, there are probably a lot of factors, the most important being faculty and what specifically you would do in Number Theory.

After looking quickly through their faculty it doesn't look like anyone there does anything more than tangentially related to number theory. A decent amount of Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry though if you're into that.
