Hi everyone, I checked UGA math department website and FAQ section regarding graduate admission process. They have stated that admitted students since 2010, had MGRE scores in the range 580-736.Mine is 590 and I really look forward to studying Number Theory there. What do you guys think? Shall I give it a shot?

GRE general test - (Q-163,V-147) TOEFL - 95(R-22,L-25,S-23,W-25) GPA - 3.78

Why not, GRE is only a small part of the application. They also state that stat is for the middle 80% of grad students, so they admit students with even worse scores.

As a side note, I also think that their number theory group looks great, and they say that they have summer support for all students :)

I would say definitely yes as long as the rest of your app looks good. MGRE is not as important as other things (letters, research, grades).
