Hello everyone……….

This is a question of probability, and I am facing problem with this question. I have tried a lot but I could not solve it. Please solve it. This question is taken from http://www.TestCircle.com/gre, which offers online GMAT and GRE prep courses.

A fair die is tossed 360 times. The probability that a six comes up on 70 or more of the tosses is

(A) greater than 0.50
(B) between 0.16 and 0.50
(C) between 0.02 and 0.16
(D) between 0.01 and 0.02
(E) less than 0.01

Thank you….

Hi,

this one has already been solved at this board. Check these posts:

The main idea of this problem's solution is that you should know main quantiles of normal distribution by heart ;)

P.S. Use search, Luke!
