Hello!
I got several acceptance letters.
And some school offered a half time assistantship.
What is the difference between half and full?
Half time assistantship also includes tuition waiver and yearly stipend.
I don't know the difference.

Thank you very much in advance.

They are technically saying the same thing ... Some schools use "five-tenth" TA to avoid confusion. As long as you are working 20 hours/week in graduate school, you are considered "full" as an employee since for another half (20 hours) you have to do your course work or research. However, if some schools indicate quarter-time assistantship (and I know some schools have done this before), then that's certainly a problem and you need to confirm with the schools.
