School Rankings for Pure Math PhD Programs

Post by mathandcoffee » Wed Nov 30, 2016 8:36 pm

Where can you find information on rankings of pure math PhD programs in the US? I've largely decided what schools I'm applying to, but I am interested in knowing where all of these programs stand.

US News Ranking is popular. There's ARWU. And the Times Higher Education Ranking. The US News Ranking is an American company which ranks American schools, so be aware of that. The others are international ones which rank American schools. The ratings will not be completely the same because of some bias.

I wonder whether it is possible to find older rankings of pure math PhD programs, specifically those of US News dated by 2010 or earlier? I googled them, but found nothing. (Of course for example old ARWU's subject rankings are available, but I'm interested in US News ranking.)

update:
if anyone is interested, here are some old US News rankings
