Taking MGRE for practice as a junior

Postby meowskit » Sat Jul 09, 2016 11:54 pm

Hi everyone! I'm a junior at an American school interested in attending graduate school for pure mathematics. I have already finished the core math classes that the MGRE takes material from. Would you recommend against taking the September GRE for practice? As far as I know, I can choose what scores grad programs can see.

You can indeed choose which scores to send to institutions. If you can afford the test fees, I see no reason not to attempt it. If you can get a good score now, you will be able to focus on the other parts of your applications when the time comes.
