researchers in mathematics for quantum information

Postby iqqimm » Mon Aug 03, 2015 8:00 am

Hi. can I ask some advice?

I'm interseted in areas such as...
- quantum information
- quantum computing
- information theory
- mathematical foundation of quantum mechanics

I want to do my post-graduate study in these areas, in mathematics major.

But I'm having some difficulties in finding who researchers are in those areas in the world.
I came across a few names in a prestigious institutes but I am wondering if i can be given somewhat more comprehensive list of researchers in those field..

Thanks.

I don't have a list of researchers for you in this field, but I do have a friend at UCSB who is also interested in the same area. They offer quantum computing courses and I know that Microsoft has a partnership with UCSB called Station Q. There may be some other quantum stuff going on there as well.

As for getting a list for researchers in this field, I would look at the webpages of the ones you know already and find out who they are collaborating with. You could also look at journals as well.
