Best grad schools to study Harmonic Analysis

Postby ibr » Tue May 26, 2015 8:44 am

I'll apply for grad school by the end of the year and my field of interest is Harmonic Analysis and things that can be approached by it (PDEs, Analytic Number Theory, etc). In your opinion, what schools are strong in the subject? I've seen that UCLA, Berkeley and Chicago have outstanding mathematicians, but I'd like to apply to 6+. Thanks!

You mean Illinois at Urbana-Champaign? Looks like a great department too!
