Program Applying: (Pure Math/Applied Math), Combinatorics
Research Experience: One paper in preparation, related to Ramsey theory, Two REUs, last two summers, in Rennes, France- game theory and stochastic optimization(in the context of Smart Grids)- another paper in preparation,
A small paper on Enumerative combinatorics, in a local journal without Impact factor.

Your TOEFL score will hurt you. Several universities recommend a minimum TOEFL score. They consider the score very important for giving TAships.
Iirc, NYU recommends a minimum of 100.
