how to know the score as soon as possible ?

Post by Nameless » Sun Nov 09, 2008 10:45 am

ETS says it may take up to 6 weeks to know the score.
But are there any way we can know the score as soon as possible?

thanks and best of luck for your applications

I think you can use the scores-by-phone service to get your scores sooner. The fee is roughly $12 per call. (You need to have a valid credit card for this one).

i don't want to spend 12 bucks, so will receive my reports something like
11.30.08-12.01.08

Hi guys,

I took the November test, and i think i got around 70% (i answered 47 questions, and from the previous records, that's about 70-80%).

Is that a good/bad/average score? What's the minimum good score?

What about you guys? How much do you think you get?

to LOVEMATH:
Well, If you get all of them right (47 questions), then it is
80%.
To get in a good school i you should preferably have 75% or above.
I hope to get above 80%

47 corrected answers is great. I think the test is not hard like REA but some questions I have to guess like "the sequence (f_n) of twice -derivative sequence of functions" :D

my answer for this question is "h is continuous" . How about you guys?

I never had any trouble with the practice exams, and usually finished with time to spare. On the actual exam I jumped all over the place, answered far less questions than I'm capable of, and am expecting a pretty poor score overall. Such is life, but I learnt valuable lesson in time management on these exams.

i got nervous on the first 3 questions, and it took me longer time to do simple calculating stuff..

and on the second half of the time, i kept checking on the time, afraid that i'm not gonna finish, so i tried to solve harder questions.. and missed answering easier question..

well.. lesson learnt..

I took both the November and October tests and found the November one to be much easier at least for me. I answered 53 on the NOV with very little guessing and only answered 48 on the OCT one with ~3-5 (forget) guesses (eliminating 2+ of the choices first though).
