There is one post in GC stating that Duke is full and I haven't heard back anything. What's wrong with Duke!!!

yea. I'm going to go ahead and accept another offer. i figure in the best case scenario, i would probably be waitlisted and I don't wanna do that anyways. best of luck to others--i dont know why they dont just reject everyone else now if it's really full though.

I'm inclined to call this notification process pretty lazy.

be wary of those who post false info on GC to drive others off. try not to make decisions before you have confirmed info.

you're right about falseness.
but my decision was a long time coming. duke is only slightly above the school i took. and they both are in places with good weather.

At long last, I finally got rejected. Honestly kinda relieved as I've either withdrawn or heard from everyone and know where I'm headed, although really I've already accepted another offer.
