Sending GRE scores even if not required

Some schools don't require (and don't recommend) the math gre score. Mine is not great so I don't prefer sending it. Yet, I am an international student and this is the only standardized piece of info (besides GRE general which doesn't really count much) I have on my application. Also, I am not sure if students normally send their scores anyway which might put my application in the spot of lacking info compared to them. Anyone has experience with this issue ? Thanks.

Actually, I think that your General GRE will actually carry some weight at these schools. If you have a strong GPA, recommendations, and courses taken list, I think you should be fine.

My experience with ivy league schools is that if they don't require the subject test, they might not even factor it into their admission decision. I have been interviewed before by ivy league that recommend the subject test, but I chose not to submit one (have not taken the test).
